A Creative Innovation ‘War Room’
The Optimal Innovation Space
If you have ever participated in a ‘War Room’ exercise, whether corporate or military, you understand that the term simply refers to a place where all attention is dedicated to a singular, very important purpose and for that reason, ALL Distractions are Eliminated. Most ‘War Rooms’ are either jam-packed with highly sophisticated electronic equipment or are bland, often windowless, interior conference rooms where everything is a dreary and colorless, off-white.
Not so at Red Door Innovation. We have created a ‘War Room’ or set of rooms where outside distractions that hinder the innovation process are eliminated; however we have worked hard to also design a highly creative environment where thought and imagination thrive. Our so-called ‘War Room’ is like no other you have ever experienced. Filled with natural light, live plants, art, colors and textures, it is indeed a both a space where the mind finds ‘wonder’ and ‘mental refreshment.’
Though equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it is nearly invisible. In our work with your team, we take a decidedly low technology approach to stimulating and guiding thought. We focus on generating creative ideas and spurring candid and inclusive discussion, wherein each member of your team is encouraged to become deeply involved.
We firmly believe that you and your team understand your business better than anyone else. We provide the setting and external new ideas to challenge and stimulate your team.
To this milieu we add highly experienced business leaders in the role of facilitators, to guide the process. They do so in several ways; continuously assessing, advocating, encouraging and yes, also playing the ‘devil’s advocate’ — asking what, when, where, how and why, thereby pushing your team to think more deeply about the possibilities raised.
