Join Us for a Unique Opportunity to Create High Value ROI
At the Red Door Innovation Center, we do not utilize a fixed methodology for all clients, but rather addresses each client's requirements uniquely, designing an approach that is tailor made to that organization's individual needs and circumstances.
Below is a general description of a 'typical' series of activities that we utilize to identify the optimal innovations that will result in the greatest ROI for our client. Although 'typical' of the type of approach we follow, each team's agenda and experience will be different and may not reflect this outline. The approach outlined below is for a four day session at the Red Door Innovation Center. Our programs vary from single day to five consecutive days, depending upon the needs and objectives of each team.
Red Door Innovation — Outline of General Approach
Day 1
Morning — Our purpose is to move the team from focusing on their day-to-day responsibilities to a longer term and broader 'strategic focus' that encompasses today, the immediate, mid and long term future, with special emphasis on what is possible, not just what exists today. The critical paradigm shift is away from the 'urgent' to that which is truly 'important' to the organization's strategic future.
Afternoon — Our purpose is to create a mindset that will foster the innovation process through the time the team is with us as well as to begin the process of instilling within the team an understanding of the organizational transition that will be necessary if the full organization is to become a source of ongoing innovation. We strive to encourage a culture of asking 'Why' to achieve speed and depth of decision-making.
Day 2
Morning — Our purpose is to build cohesion within the team and at the same time to ensure that every team member is fully engaged in the innovation process. Our focus turns to engaging the team in what we term 'deep discussion' to begin preparing the way for aggressive forward thinking.
Afternoon — Our purpose is to begin the search for high reward, low risk innovation opportunities.
Day 3
Morning — Our purpose is to challenge the team's thinking in regard to the organization, it's business model and SWOT in relation to the global future.
Afternoon — Utilizing the results of the challenge, we continue the deep discussion begun the previous day to analyze the first round of innovation opportunities previously identified and to uncover additional innovation opportunities.
Day 4
Morning — We begin by force ranking each of the identified innovations and creating a synergy matrix of decision criteria.
Afternoon — We establish an innovation implementation and integration plan so that upon return to the organization, the team is ready to immediately initiate the agreed innovations.
